Below are some freezer meals that I have found and love! You can double or triples as you wish to have more saved for future use!

FREEZER MEALS 


Hawaiian Chicken Sandwiches
6-8 Chicken Breasts (1 for each family member, doubled)
2 cups of chicken broth
2 small cans of pineapple rings
2 red bell peppers sliced into thin strips
1large onion sliced into strips
Provolone cheese
Whole wheat buns or lettuce wraps

Directions:  Divide all contents evenly into two bags except cheese and buns/lettuce.  Cook on low for 8 hours.  Serve chicken topped with pepper and onions under melted provolone cheese on a bun or lettuce warp.

Savory Pepper Steak
3 pounds of roundsteak but into ½ inch thick strips.
½ cup flour
1 tsp of salt
1 tsp pepper
1 large onion chopped
a few garlic cloves—I like to put 4-5 crushed into each bag
1 green peppers sliced
1 red pepper sliced
2  16oz cans of tomatoes—I prefer Italian style
2 tbsp beef bouillon
4 tsp of Worcestershire sauce
2 tbsp of steak seasoning
2 tbsp of steak sauce

Directions:  Toss steak strips in mixture of flour, salt and pepper.  Mix together beef boullion,Worcestershire sauce, and steak sauce and divide evenly into two bags.  Add remaining ingredients.  Cook on low 8 hours.  Serve with rice and a side salad.

Chicken Curry
6-8chicken breasts
2cans of cream of chicken soup
1cup of dry cooking sherry
½ cup of butter
8green onions chopped
4tsp of curry powder
salt and pepper

Directions: Divide everything except butter into two bags evenly.  Add butter to crockpot when ready to cook.  Cook on low for 8 hours. Serve over rice with a side salad.

Brown Sugar Chicken
  • Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breasts, I did 4
  • 1 cup Brown Sugar
  • 1/4 cup Sprite (I will add this once I add everything to the crockpot)
  • 2/3 cup Vinegar
  • 3 cloves smashed and chopped garlic
  • 2 Tablespoon Soy Sauce
  • 1 Teaspoon Black Pepper
Add all ingredients to Gallon Size Freezer Bag, except for the Sprite.  When you are ready to cook this, put all ingredients into a crockpot, add the sprite and let cook for 3-4 hours on high.

Honey Garlic Chicken
  • Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breasts, I used 4
  • 3 Garlic Cloves, smashed and chopped
  • 1 Teaspoon Dried Basil (I used Fresh)
  • 1/2 cup  Soy Sauce
  • 1/2 cup Ketchup
  • 1/3 cup Honey
Add all ingredients to Gallon Size Freezer Bag.  When you are ready to cook this, put all ingredients into a crockpot and let cook for 3-4 hours on high
Below is a collection of some of my favorite crock pot meals. Enjoy and relax while dinner is cooking!
 
Crock Pot Meals


Apricot Glazed Chicken
Ingredients:
  • 1/2 cup apricot preserves
  • 1/3 cup bottled Russian dressing
  • 1/2 envelope onion soup mix
  • 6 frozen chicken breasts (not thawed)
Preparation:
Mix the first 3 ingredients together. Place chicken in Crock Pot and cover with apricot mixture. Cook on low 5 to 6 hours.
Serves 6.

Creamy Broccoli Chicken
Ingredients:
  • 1 can Cream of Broccoli Soup
  • boneless chicken breasts (as many as you need) - I buy the frozen ones with 6-7 in a bag - approx. 3 pounds
  • 1 bag frozen broccoli
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 cup milk
Preparation:
Place chicken in the crockpot. Cover with frozen veggies and cream of broccoli soup. Add salt and pepper to taste. Cook on LOW 6 to 8 hours or HIGH 3 to 4 hours. (Boneless chicken breasts might be dry if cooked too long.) Add milk about 45 minutes before done, or 30 minutes if cooking on high. Serve poured over rice.

Easy Cheesy Chicken
Ingredients:
  • 6 boneless chicken breast halves, without skin
  • salt and pepper, to taste
  • garlic powder, to taste
  • 2 cans condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 1 can condensed cheddar cheese soup
Preparation:
Rinse chicken and sprinkle with salt, pepper and garlic powder. Mix undiluted soup and pour over chicken in a Crock Pot. Cook on low 6 to 8 hours.

Crockpot Steak and Gravy
Ingredients:
  • 2 pounds cube steak, or tenderized round steak, in serving-size pieces
  • salt and pepper
  • flour
  • 1 envelope onion gravy mix
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup water
Preparation:
Sprinkle beef with salt and pepper. Dip steaks in flour, fry until brown. Place in slow cooker. Add water, soup, and gravy mix. Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours.
Serve with mashed potatoes or rice.
Serves 6 to 8.

Beef Tips
Ingredients:
  • 2 lbs. lean chuck roast, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1 env. dry onion soup mix
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup 7-Up or similar
Preparation:
Place meat in slow cooker/Crock Pot. Do not season. Pour mushroom soup over mear and sprinkle onion soup mix on top. Add 7up. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours. Serve over noodles or rice. Freeze cooled beef tips in large freezer bag. Thaw and reheat

Tangy Pork Chops


4 – 6 Pork chops
¼ cup Worcestershire sauce
¼ cup ketchup
½ cup honey

In skillet, brown pork chops. Place in shallow baking dish. Combine Worcestershire sauce, ketchup and honey. Pour over pork chops. Cover and bake at 352o for 20 minutes; uncover and bake another 15 minutes.

Bueno Taco Casserole


2 pound lean ground beef
1 ½ cups taco sauce
2 (15ounce) cans Spanish Rice
1 (8ounce) package shredded Mexican 4-cheese blend, divided

In skillet, brown ground beef and drain. Add taco sauce, Spanish rice and half cheese. Spoon into buttered 3quart baking dish. Cover and bake at 350o for 35 minutes. Uncover and sprinkle remaining cheese on top and return to oven for 5 minutes.

Sunshine Chicken


1 chicken quartered
Flour
1 cup barbeque sauce
½ cup orange juice

Place chicken in bowl of flower and coat well. In skillet with a little oil brown chicken and place in sprayed, shallow 9X13 inch baking pan. Combine barbeque sauce and orange juice. Pour over chicken. Bake covered at 350o for 30 minutes. Remove from oven, spoon sauce over chicken and bake uncovered for another 15 minutes.
